Morning Briefing – 6:30 AM
The day starts early at Albert Nahman Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling. After checking our morning schedule and loading up the service van with necessary equipment, we head out to our first call in Berkeley.
First Call – Water Heater Emergency
A homeowner in the Berkeley Hills needs an urgent water heater replacement. These calls are common, especially during winter months. While installing the new unit, I take time to explain maintenance tips to help extend its lifespan.
Mid-Morning – Sump Pump Installation
By 10 AM, I’m in San Leandro installing a new sump pump for a worried homeowner. With Bay Area rainfall patterns, these systems are crucial for preventing basement flooding. The installation takes about three hours, including:
• Proper pit excavation
• Pump placement and testing
• Discharge line installation
• Electrical connection verification
Afternoon Service – Hayward Repairs
After lunch, I head to Hayward for routine plumbing maintenance calls. Today includes:
• Fixing a persistent kitchen sink leak
• Clearing a stubborn drain blockage
• Performing a water pressure test
• Inspecting pipe integrity
End of Day – 5:00 PM
Back at headquarters, I complete paperwork, restock the van, and prepare for tomorrow’s service calls. Every day brings different challenges, but helping homeowners maintain their plumbing systems makes it all worthwhile.
Working for Albert Nahman means maintaining high standards of professionalism and expertise throughout the East Bay area. Whether it’s emergency repairs or routine maintenance, we’re committed to providing top-quality service to our community.
